Cuf 101 Alfalfa is a very non-dormant variety released by the University of California. Principal areas of use are: Low desert valleys of southern California, southern Arizona, southern Nevada, southern New Mexico and southern Old Mexico. Also a popular variety is similar climates in other parts of the world. Good quality hay and forage. Can become somewhat stemmy in older stands.

Highline, a variety of Alfalfa seed, is non-dormant (group 9) and intended for hay, greenchop, haylage or dehydration. This culver is adapted to Low Desert irrigated production areas, tested in the Central Valley and Imperial Valley of California.
Moapa Alfalfa is a non winter dormant variety, released by the University of Nevada. Principal areas of use are: low desert valleys of southern California, southern Arizona, southern Nevada, and southern New Mexico; coastal valleys of central and southern California; southern San Joaquin valley; northern San Joaquin Valley and Sacramento Valley. Plus low desert areas of Old Mexico and similar climates worldwide. High production of fine-stemmed leafy hay. Recovers well from cutting.

The parent of ‘Super Siriver’, the Australian variety ‘Siriver’, has been the most widely grown variety in Australia since it was released in 1980. It was selected as the parent of the new variety particularly because of its broad adaptation and high fodder yield in both Australian and international markets.
The Australian variety ‘Sequel’ has performed very well in northern New South Wales and southern Queensland. Cuf101 is an important American aphid-resistant variety which was used in the breeding of both ‘Siriver’ and ‘Sequel’. The aim was to produce a broadly adapted and high yielding variety by selection of superior plants from within proven varieties. Traditional breeding methods were used to develop ‘Super CUF’

This variety of Sudangrass is widely used for pasture, greenchop, hay, and cover crop (green manure). Piper is noted for its lower prussic acid content. This doesn’t rule out the possibility of a prussic acid problem with a grazed field, but under similar growing conditions, Piper Sudangrass will tend to have fewer problems with prussic acid than other Sudan varieties, Sudan hybrids, or Sorghum X Sudan hybrids. Piper is noted for strong seedling vigor and rapid growth with early maturity. It recovers rapidly after cutting or grazing and this characteristic helps to increase yield.
GrazerII is a small seeded palatable three way cross that can be used for grazing or hay. It is a thin stemmed type allowing for faster dry down for high quality hay production. Regrowth of Grazer II is very fast giving it high yield potential. The juicy midrib of Grazer II greatly enhances palatability over dry midrib types. Higher rates of planting will produce a thinner stemmed forage.
Pacific Sweet is a Photoperiod Sensitive that can be used for grazing, hay or silage. It is a thin stemmed type allowing for faster dry down for high quality hay production. Regrowth is very fast giving it high yield potential. Higher planting rates will produce smaller stemmed forage.
Pacific Graze is a small seeded three way cross that can be used for grazing or hay. It is a thin stemmed type allowing for faster dry down for high quality hay production. Regrowth is very fast giving it high yield potential. Higher planting rates will produce a smaller stemmed forage.
Pacific Graze-Sterile is a small seeded three way cross that can be used for grazing or hay. It is a thin stemmed type allowing for faster dry down for high quality hay production. Regrowth is very fast giving it high yield potential. Higher planting rates will produce a smaller stemmed forage.
Pacific Gold BMR Brand Hybrid Sorghum-Sudangrass has exceptional palatability and the addition of a Brown Midrib gene has shown marked reduction of lignin content in the plant. It offers a premium summer annual hybrid with the same agronomic characteristics you will find in a conventional sorghum- Sudangrass hybrid such as excellent hay quality, heavy pasturing, superior drought tolerance, and a wide adaptability.

Bermuda is one of the most persistent and aggressive grasses grown it is very hard to kill after establishment. With a fair degree salt spray tolerance, Bermuda is used in coastal regions all along the south and up to the lower sections of the cool season area. This is highly desirable on golf courses and athletic fields where heavy traffic damages occur daily. Hulled seed: have part of the protect seed coat mechanically removed so as to speed up germination percentages.

Coated seed: have been coated with a coating material (clay based) and a fungicide to increase successful germination by providing control of seed and soil borne pathogens.
Sahara was the first seeded Bermuda grass to be developed exclusively for turf. Compared to common Bermuda grass, Sahara is more uniform, has increased density and improved summer green color. Sahara is superior in drought tolerance to common and many other Bermuda grass varieties. Recommended for golf courses (fairways & roughs), home lawns, athletic fields, and parks.
Annual Ryegrass is rapidly becoming the cover crop of choice for producers throughout the Midwest. This ryegrass only lives for one year and is easily established and can be seeded by either: drilling, broadcast and lightly incorporated, or aerial seeded in standing crops. This plan will provide increased: organic matter, soil structure, water infiltration, erosion control, soybean cysts control, and significantly higher crop yields during stress years.

Turf perennial ryegrass is the most widely used grass and has the ability to germinate in 7-10 days. Perennial ryegrass will perform on a wide variety of different type of soils and do well in areas that have heavy use. Perennial ryegrass is often combined with fine fescue and bluegrass to produce a fine turf. Perennial ryegrass is liked by homeowners because it makes a dark green turf that rapidly grows a strong root system that allows it to rapidly use fertilizer. Recommended use is sports fields, fine lawns, golf courses, roadsides and other turf applications.

Introduced from Australia, a perennial warm season bunchgrass; forms good-sized tough crowns by means of thick, short bulbous rhizomes; extensive root system. Grows up to 7ft tall, dark-green and wide-leaved with good fertility and water. Blue Panic has been successful in renovating rangeland in large areas of South Texas and Mexico.
A tropical perennial introduced from Africa, responds best from San Antonio south into Mexico. In warm soils Green Panic emerges quickly growing 2’ within 5 weeks and 5’ in 90 days. On well fertilized stand in south Texas. Green Panic can be used as self-seeding annual, with a certain amount of success if allowed to seed in areas where stands are damaged by cold temperatures.
